Hard to Be a God (2013)
[Movie]A scientist watches a medieval world trapped in cruelty, unable to intervene without breaking his own mission.
Why people love it: German crafts an oppressive, immersive tableau that feels both alien and eerily familiar. The relentless brutality and stark cinematography make it a haunting meditation on power and apathy.
